Optic Orange is designed to deliver a high-contrast sight picture in bright conditions and maintain visibility as light diminishes. To ensure visibility in low light when uncharged, optic orange mainly relies on yellow with a touch of red. The larger surface area of the convex dot enhances light absorption, boosting the glow's brightness. The "dot-the-i" sight picture, with a tritium dot on the front sight and a tritium bar on the rear, helps prevent confusion of the sights during high-stress situations.
